- Frontier Max 12 plan. This plan is ideal for consumers who use a lot of energy each month. Customers will earn a $100 bill credit each month for using between 2,000 and 2,500 kWh.
- Simple Power 12 plan. Customers who sign up for this plan will be charged a base fee of $58 each month. In exchange, these customers will receive free usage up to 500 kWh. For usage above 500 kWh, a standard rate will apply. This plan is a good option for those who do not consume a lot of energy.

Which provider has the cheapest Texas electricity rates?
Unfortunately, there isn’t a simple answer to that question. Cheaper rates don’t necessarily translate to cheaper bills. For example, a provider may display an electric rate for of kWh, but your rate could change if you consume 1,500 kWh. There are also bill credits, usage tiers, time-of-use and many other factors that could impact your bill.
Atlas is here to help sort through the confusion. We built a customer algorithm to help our users see their energy bill at all usages and throughout the year. On average, Texans consume twice as much electricity in August as they do in April, so we understand that you need to consider the big picture when searching for the right plan.
We’re not just looking for the lowest rates right now. We’re charting a path between you and low energy bills – for good.
